Five questions worth asking about your purpose

Purpose is rarely one big announcement. It often shows up as a pattern. Start with these questions.

By Pearl Selasi Akondor2 September 20265 min read

Most of us want a single, clear sentence that explains why we are here. What we usually get is a pattern that becomes clear over time.

Start here

  • What keeps pulling at your attention, even when nobody is asking?
  • What problems do you notice that others walk past?
  • When do you feel most like yourself?
  • What has your hardest season equipped you to understand?
  • Who do you keep finding yourself wanting to help?

Write your answers down. Then leave them for a week and read them again. The patterns tend to show up on the second look.
